A Little Note

Hey guys,

I just wanted to add a little extra note on my last blog post. In my last article I said that I had been given the chance to have my book given to David, but I hadn't mentioned something before. I wanted to add that in addition to having my book given to David, I had also written a little note to him in the book, explaining to him how much of an inspiration he is to me, and to the making of my book. I also autographed the book for him, so it's really thrilling to me that he has the book, it being personally autographed and containing my personal notes to him.

One more thing on why I wanted to give my book to David: not only is he my favorite singer of all time, but he is also a role model and inspiration to me. I wrote an article about David receiving my book and why he is such an inspiration to me and the making of this book in www.snarkyarchies.com . It was posted in the website also thanks to my friend Calynn. I feel so blessed to have a great friend like her. To see the article I had written, you can click here.

Thank you for reading! Have a great day everyone!

Updates, book, and David Archuleta

Hi readers,

It's been a while since I've updated anything in this blog. Guess I have to get more creative if I don't want my blog to be dusty and boring. I need to perk the blog up a little bit; maybe get some fun stuff going on here, like quizzes, or maybe a lot of articles, pictures, or videos. Ideas, ideas.

Anyway, I have a little piece of exciting news. I am now officially an author! Yep, my first book, Raising Your Voice, is already published! It was published on December 9th, 2009. You can look it up here. It's been a great experience so far, having my book published! Though it's still imperfect (what book isn't, actually?) it's still a great leaping stone for me. I wish for better things to come in the future!

One more piece of exhilarating news: David Archuleta has my book!

Yep, that adorable, talented singer of mine has my book! A friend of mine, Calynn, had had the opportunity to see David in the Sacramento Christmas tree-lighting event on December 7th, 2010, and she had so kindly given David my book. I was jumping up and down when I heard this! Not so many amateurs get to have their book given to David Archuleta. I feel so lucky and blessed!

Ah, well, I haven't got much to say besides those two pieces of news. I'm still brainstorming on what I should write in this blog. I'm going to make quite a lot of changes though, that's for sure. I completely renovated my blog's theme and layouts, hoping to make it look more catchy and interesting. I sure hope it works!

I have posted a picture of David Archuleta holding my book, courtesy to my friend Calynn, and www.snarkyarchies.com . This is one of my treasures. :)

Okay, will write again soon!

Going home

Finally tomorrow I'm going home. Today I'm gonna go from my grandparents' house in Green Garden to my other grandparents' house in Cengkareng. From there I'd go to the airport tomorrow and leaving for Bali at 20.40. I'm gonna arrive late and the next day I'd have to go to school for a meeting! I'm gonna be so tired but I miss my school and friends already.
=)

Sorry..

Sorry, I can't find the video of Taylor Swift so no video this time.
Maybe next time. When I've worked stuff out.

2 more days!

Hi! Just saying that in 2 more days I'm coming home to Bali! My home sweet home at last! I dreamt that I was back home already 3 nights in a row. School this semester will be rockin' awesome and I hope the new kids are interesting and nice. The last ones were. ^^

Anyway I've attached a video here for the first time; this is one of my favorite videos, Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" from her album Fearless. It's pretty cool plus Lucas Till is so cute. =) Lets just hope this works. I'm still confused with the whole blog thing.

BTW, I'm writing two new songs - "Be My Escape" and "Especially For You". When they're done I'll write it down here.
